The Gentle Shift

4-Week Coaching Container

What this is

4-Week Container

The Gentle Shift is a 4-week, one-on-one embodied coaching container designed to support meaningful change without pressure or urgency.
This work blends somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, and coaching to help you build steadiness, clarity, and self-trust during a specific season or transition.

Rather than pushing toward outcomes, we focus on listening to the body, understanding patterns with compassion, and creating small, sustainable shifts that can integrate into daily life.

The intention: to help you slow down, reconnect with your body, and create awareness around patterns that are currently shaping your life without trying to change everything at once.

This container is about stabilizing and resourcing your nervous system so you can:

  • Feel more present in your day-to-day life

  • Notice your needs, boundaries, and inner signals

  • Begin responding differently, with more choice and less reactivity

The Gentle Shift supports awareness, steadiness, and gentle momentum.
It’s not about deep excavation — it’s about building enough safety to listen to yourself more honestly.

This container is for you if:

  • You have a hard time slowing down or fully relaxing, even when you want to

  • You react easily, rather than respond from your center

  • You make sure everyone around you is cared for, often before checking in with yourself

  • When you have quiet time, you tend to check out rather than feel truly rested or present

  • You notice tension in your body or a subtle sense of disconnection

  • You overthink decisions and second-guess yourself, even about small things

  • You want support that feels gentle, steady, and non-judgmental

Four 60-minute sessions

What you can expect each week:

The weekly themes below offer a gentle framework for our work together, not a rigid plan. While we hold an overall intention, we also make space for what is most alive in you each week — trusting that meaningful work often unfolds through what is asking for attention in the present moment.

Week 1: Arriving & Getting Oriented

Our first session is about slowing down and getting to know you — your current season of life, what feels supportive, what feels challenging, and what is bringing you here.

Together we begin building safety and connection while gently exploring your nervous system, current stressors, and goals for our time together.

You may leave with:

  • Greater awareness of where you are right now, and where you want to be

  • A first grounding or resourcing practice

  • Feeling seen, supported, and more connected to yourself

Week 2: Listening to the Body

Learning your language

This week is about becoming more familiar with your body’s signals and responses.

Together we explore how stress, tension, activation, or overwhelm may show up for you — not to judge or fix, but to better understand and support your system.

You may leave with:

  • More awareness of your body’s cues and patterns

  • Greater understanding of your stress responses

  • Personalized practices for nervous system awareness and support

Week 3: Needs, Boundaries & Capacity

What do you need?

Many of us learn to care for others before ourselves or push past our own limits without noticing.

This week invites deeper awareness of your needs, capacity, and boundaries — helping you recognize what support, rest, or honesty may be asking for.

You may leave with:

  • More clarity around your needs and limits

  • Greater awareness of body-based yes/no signals

  • One small, supportive shift to practice in daily life

Week 4: Integration & Moving Forward

Carrying this into your life

Our final week brings everything together.

We reflect on what you’ve learned, notice what has shifted, and explore how to carry these insights and practices into your day-to-day life in a way that feels realistic and supportive.

You may leave with:

  • Practices and tools tailored to your body and nervous system

  • Greater steadiness and self-trust

  • Clear next steps for continued support and integration

After working together, you'll have:

  • A clearer understanding of the patterns you’re currently experiencing — emotionally, physically, and relationally

  • Greater awareness of how your body responds to stress, rest, and connection

  • Simple, nervous-system-informed tools that actually work for your body

  • Practices you can realistically incorporate into your day-to-day life

  • More choice in how you respond, instead of reacting on autopilot

  • A felt sense of steadiness and self-trust you can return to

This work is not about becoming someone new. It’s about getting to know yourself more deeply and learning to move through life with greater awareness, choice, and care.
