Episode 33: What If We Looked For Delight?

In this episode of The Slowdown, we’re exploring what happens when we intentionally orient toward delight. Our attention is constantly being pulled in a thousand directions, but what if we practiced noticing the things that make us smile, spark our curiosity, or make us feel a little more alive?

We’ll explore delight, our nervous system’s natural tendency to orient towards what's familiar, and how we can begin creating new patterns around what we notice. We’ll also talk about dreaming, the protective parts of us that may tell us what’s unrealistic, and meeting those parts with compassion rather than pushing them away.

The practice for this week is mindfulness. We’ll slow down together and use the breath as an anchor for coming back to the present moment.

A simple invitation to carry with you this week: What if I looked for delight here?

Take a breath, let's slow down together.
